Longueville House Garden Tour & Seasonal Cookery Demonstration with Lunch 


William O’Callaghan Chef/Proprietor at Longueville House and his team design a menu each day for the Restaurant that works with the season and what’s available from walled kitchen garden. Continuing this tradition of “field to fork” William will be offering a Seasonal Cookery Demonstration & Garden Tour followed by a delicious lunch on one day of each month. Longueville House is blessed with a three acre Walled Kitchen Garden where almost all of the fresh produce is sourced from. This marvellous asset allows treasured Guests enjoy the finest quality vegetables and fruit freshly picked that very same day.

How the day will run:

11.00am

A visit to the Walled Kitchen Garden where vegetables, herbs and fruit are hand picked. An informative talk and demonstration on produce cultivation, produce care and best use practice.

12.00pm

Participants will gather in the kitchen for cookery demonstration. Depending on the season, meat, fish or fowl from our woods, river & farm will be used accompaning the garden produce. Lunch will be prepared over the course of an hour and a half including useful tips and techniques.

1.30pm

Lunch will be served after the demonstration and served in the Library or Presidents’ Restaurant.

Overnight Package Price:

Double/ Twin Room: €199 per person sharing. Junior Suite Supplement: €30 per person sharing.
Price includes the day package plus Dinner, Bed & Breakfast on the night of event or night before event.

Booking & Cancellation Policy:

Advance booking & pre-payment is essential by credit card or cheque as numbers taken for this event are limited. Confirmation of booking will be guaranteed on receipt of these payment details. Cancellation is required within 2 days of the event to avoid penalty of payment in full. Cancellations before this time will be refunded payment minus 20% handling fee. Book early as space is limited! Due notice will be given to participants in the event of postponement or cancellation.
