Longueville House Harvest Lunch & Cider Making Tour 2014

To coincide with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain which once marked the celebration (over a week!) of the New Year; Longueville House to mark this special occasion will host a Harvest Lunch. This will take place on Sunday 26th October next.
With the guidance of Dan Duggan Longuevilles’ head brandy distiller and cider brewer, you can discover the pleasure of this exciting process here at Longueville House where is it all made. Afterwards and weather dependent, Chef/Proprietor William O’Callaghan along with his team will prepare a special meal which includes what’s best available from our Walled Garden and Estate including a free range “Pig on Spit” and Longueville House Cider.

Coffee/Home made Cookies on arrival
Guided Tour of Gardens & Distillery by our head brewer/distiller
Longueville House Cider & Longueville House Apple Brandy Tasting
Buffet Lunch with Longueville House Cider
Participants meet at Longueville House Hotel. A brief meet & greet over morning coffee with Distiller Dan Duggan & Proprietor William O’Callaghan.
Tour of Distillery with demonstration of production process and visit to the Crush House. Later a walk through the Orchards followed by Tastings of Longueville House Apple Brandy & Cider.
Return to the warmth of our Drawing room for a Longueville House Garden Fruit Cocktail.
The highlight of the day - our legendary luncheon served in The Presidents’ Restaurant with a specially prepared lunch.

Advance booking & pre-payment is essential by credit card or cheque as numbers taken for this event are limited. Confirmation of booking will be guaranteed on receipt of these payment details. Cancellation is required within 2 days of the event to avoid penalty of payment in full. Cancellations before this time will be refunded payment minus 20% handling fee. Book early as space is limited! Due notice will be given to participants in the event of postponement or cancellation.
