Marketing Co-ordinator at Longueville House

 

Longueville House Hotel (20 bedroom) are looking to recruit (full time position) a bright and enthusiastic candidate as Front Office Manager in our Four Star Country House Hotel located in North Cork. 
A current or previous background (within the past three years preferably) in hotel operations is hugely beneficial due to the nature and style of our business.
Duties & Responsibilities to include:
Day to day running of Reception department liaising with all other departments. 
Managing rates & packages, content and updates to the hotel website as well as to Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter).
On line marketing, social media administration, hotel reservation systems such as loading rates, booking engines/ third party extranets. 
Monitoring all front office cash transactions, float & till procedures ensuring that they are carried out to Company policy.
Ensuring security & key control procedures are adhered to in line with Company policy.
Overseeing billing & invoicing transactions so that that all transactions have been posted correctly.
Ensuring the professional operation of the back office and all reservations and administrative duties are carried out effectively.
Stocking of Stationery.
Maintaining a good working relationship with colleagues and to display passion and optimism in your role.
Dealing with any customer feedback in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Providing Training to team members in line with company policy.
The successful candidate must have a professional and friendly approach and will be focussed on delivering high standards of customer service. 
They must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills and must be able to demonstrate a keen aptitude towards the job and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role with a working knowledge of Hotellinx, POS or similar systems is essential. An ability to work on own initiative very important.

Required skills are:

In depth working knowledge of hotel reservation system (ideally Hotellinks POS or similar).

In depth working knowledge of all social media platforms.

Website management, managing packages, uploading rates.

Channel Management of booking engines and third party extranets.

 

Responsibilities to include:

Off site Sales Calls

Managing rates & packages, content and updates to the hotel website as well as to Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter).

On Line & on site Marketing & Handling all Group Bookings & in particular Wedding Parties.
